Our office is up on the third floor of Gayathri Towers, in Flat No-303. We are located pretty close to the Chandanagar Railway Station, which makes it easy to explain our location to people who aren't from around here. It’s a busy area with a lot of shops and people moving about constantly. We deal with H-beams and structural stuff, so the office is usually full of technical specifications and heavy catalogues. It’s a simple space, nothing too modern or decorated. We have a few sturdy desks and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just wait it out or chat about things. We aren't a huge company with fancy departments. It’s just a handful of us making sure the orders and the logistics are sorted for the clients. We’ve been in Chandanagar for a while and have seen the area grow quite a bit since we first moved in. The building isn't the newest, but it works for us. We don't really have a reception desk or a waiting room. People just knock and come right in. We usually have our lunch together in the small pantry area in the back. It's a straightforward job that we do here. We talk to suppliers, check the beam specs, and handle the daily paperwork. It gets a bit dusty with all the construction nearby, but that’s just how it is around here.
