Rewa Unifroms

If you head up to the first floor of the Balaji Manikanta Apartments in Nandanar Nagar, you’ll find us at Flat No 301. Rewa Unifroms is tucked away in this residential building in Lalaguda, Secunderabad. It’s not your typical storefront. Instead of a big display window, we have rooms filled with rolls of fabric, sewing machines, and various threads. The sound of the needles clicking is something you hear the moment you walk in. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and stitching. It can get a bit cluttered with all the scraps of cloth on the floor, but that’s part of the process. We mostly handle uniforms for schools and businesses around this part of town. People often come by for fittings, so the living room area usually has someone trying on a jacket or trousers. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, especially when we have a big order due before a new school term starts. We don't have a fancy showroom or a marketing team. It’s just us and the machines. We’ve been in this apartment for a while now, and it’s become our second home. The neighbors are used to the hum of the business and the delivery guys coming in and out with boxes. We take things one garment at a time and try to make sure the fit is right. It’s practical work that requires a lot of patience and steady hands for the details.
