Ratnam Marketing

We run Ratnam Marketing out of House No - 8-5-24 in Old Bowenpally. It’s a bit unusual because we are right near B.N Ramakrishna School. Every morning and afternoon, the street is filled with the sounds of kids laughing and parents picking them up, which is a nice change from the usual business silence. Our place is more of a home-office setup than a corporate building. We have boxes of inventory stacked up in what used to be a living room, and the dining table is mostly covered in invoices and shipping labels. It’s a bit cramped, especially when a new shipment arrives and we have to climb over crates just to get to the kitchen for a glass of water. We don’t have a reception desk or a secretary. If the doorbell rings, one of us just gets up and answers it. Most of our work involves talking on the phone and keeping track of orders, so it’s a lot of sitting and typing. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, so we try not to make too much noise with the delivery vans. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog comes and sits by our gate, watching us move boxes around. It’s a very relaxed way to work, without the pressure of a big office building. We know the local shopkeepers and the school staff, so it feels like being part of a real community while we do our business.
