Hutaib Trading Company

Our business is on the first floor on Hill Street. We are very close to the City Light Hotel in Ranigunj. It’s a very busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. Our office and storage space are a bit cramped because we have so many samples and files everywhere. We’ve been here for a while and most people use the hotel as a landmark to find us. The stairs leading up to our floor are a bit steep and narrow. We spend most of our time on the phone or handling paperwork for the trading we do. It’s a lot of coordinating between different suppliers and buyers. Sometimes the days are very slow, and other times we can't keep up with the calls. We don't have a big sign out front or anything flashy. It’s just a regular workplace where we get things done. Most of us have been working here together for a long time, so we have a good routine. We don't really go in for any big corporate stuff. We just focus on the orders and making sure the shipments are going where they need to go. It’s a lot of logistical work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just keep things moving and try to stay on top of the documents that pile up on our desks.
