Rama Excavator

Rama Excavator operates out of unit 6 in the Kamakshi Complex on S D Road. If you’ve ever walked by, you might have seen some of our paperwork or maybe one of our machines parked nearby if we’re moving equipment. We spend most of our time out in the dirt, digging foundations or clearing land for new buildings. It’s a rough business and the equipment requires a lot of maintenance to keep it from breaking down at the wrong time. We aren’t big on polished office spaces or wearing suits; we’re usually covered in a bit of grease or red soil. The Kamakshi Complex is a good spot for us because it’s central, making it easier to get our crews out to different sites across the city. We’ve been doing this for a while and we’ve learned which parts of the local ground are easy to dig and which ones are going to give us trouble. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Usually, a contractor just calls us up because they need a hole dug and they know we’ll show up and do it. We try to be honest about our schedule, even if we’re backed up with work. It’s just how we do things. Digging might seem simple, but it takes some skill to do it without hitting a pipe or a cable. We just stick to what we know and keep digging.
