Priyanka Garments is situated in Phase 1 on the 2nd road of KPHB Colony in Kukatpally. It’s a very active area of Hyderabad, always something going on. We have been here for a good few years now. The shop is filled with various types of clothing, from simple shirts to more traditional wear. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes because we try to keep as much variety as possible on the floor. The racks stay pretty full. We get a lot of foot traffic from people living in the colony. It’s mostly just us working here, keeping things moving. Every day starts with opening the shutters and setting out some of the newer items near the front so people can see them as they walk by. The traffic on 2nd road can get a bit loud, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't into high-pressure sales or anything like that. We just let people look at what they want. If they have a question about a size or a price, we’re there to help. It’s a very grounded business. Our interior isn't fancy, just some good lighting and mirrors. Most of our customers are looking for something reliable to wear for work or home. That's what we provide. It’s just a normal shop in a busy colony. We usually close up around nine at night and then head home.
