S R Diecast

We operate out of A 6 Ida in Kukatpally. It’s located near Gandhinagar and the Panchasheela Colony area. S R Diecast is a place where we make molds and cast different metal parts. It involves a lot of heat and working with molten metal. The furnace is the heart of the whole place. It’s always warm inside the shop, even on cooler days. We have to be very careful with the timing of the pours. It’s a messy and sweaty job, but it’s satisfying to see the finished parts come out of the molds. Kukatpally is a very busy part of town. There’s always a lot of traffic near the colony entrance. We get to work early in the morning before it gets too hot to breathe. The shop is filled with various molds we’ve made over the years. Some are for tiny components, while others are for much bigger parts. We don't have a big reception area or a lobby. If you come by to see us, you’ll probably find us on the shop floor covered in dust. We drink a lot of water throughout the day to stay hydrated. It’s a tough and physical job, but we enjoy the work. We’ve got a good rhythm going with the small team here. We don't talk much while we're actually pouring the metal. It requires a lot of concentration and safety. After the casting is finished, we spend time cleaning the parts up. It’s just us doing what we’ve always done. No big corporate goals, just making good casts every single day.
