Karthikeya Batteries

The shop is at Plot No. 9-107, right across from Vijaya Hospital in S V Nagar. We are located near Gate No. 1 in Nagaram, which is part of the Keesara area. Some people know the spot as Poddar Court. Dealing with batteries is mostly what we do here every day. People come in when their cars won't start or when their home backup isn't working right. It’s just us working at the shop. We handle different brands and types of batteries for bikes and bigger vehicles too. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the shelves. Keesara is a growing area, so we see a lot of new faces lately. We usually open up early in the morning and stay until late evening. There’s a lot of lifting involved since batteries are heavy. My hands are usually a bit dirty from grease or acid by the end of the day, but that’s just how it goes here. We don't have a big fancy showroom, just a practical space where we can store the stock and talk to customers who stop by. Most people find us because they live nearby or they're visiting the hospital across the way. It's a straightforward business, nothing too complicated about it. We just keep things moving and try to help folks get their power back. Anyway, it’s a living and we’ve been at this location for a while now.
