MCML Protechtion Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is located at 42 Vijaypuri Colony in Sainikpuri. We are right opposite the Canara Bank. Sainikpuri is a nice, green part of town, which makes coming to work a bit more pleasant than being in the city center. Our office is more like a house that’s been converted into a workspace. It has a very local feel to it. We work on protection technologies, which sounds very technical, but our day-to-day is mostly emails, testing equipment, and talking to clients. Because we are in a colony, it’s pretty quiet most of the time, except when the school nearby lets out or people are heading to the bank across the street. We have a small yard where we sometimes take breaks. There isn't any corporate cafeteria here, just a small kitchen where we heat up our lunch boxes. The rooms are filled with computers and various bits of hardware we use for our tech work. It’s a tight-knit group of people working here. We don't really do the whole corporate ladder thing; everyone just chips in where they are needed. Most of us live nearby, so we avoid the worst of the traffic. It’s a straightforward, honest place to work. We like being in Vijaypuri Colony because it feels more like a community than just a business district.
