Shiv Fasteners is right on Maha Kali Street. Our shop is number 2 on the ground floor. It is very easy to spot because we are right opposite the Maha Kali Temple. You can always hear the bells ringing and see people coming to pray. The street is quite narrow and can get very crowded during festivals. We deal in all sorts of fasteners like bolts, nuts, and screws. The shelves are packed with boxes from the floor to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside, but we manage. We’ve been at this ground floor location for a while now. Most of our customers are local builders or mechanics who need something specific for a job. We don't have a website or anything like that. People usually just stop by because they know we are across from the temple. The floor is concrete and can get a bit cold in the winter months. We usually have a radio playing in the corner to keep us company. It’s not a polished showroom. It’s a working shop where things get a bit dusty. We spend a lot of time counting out pieces and putting them in small bags. Every now and then, we have to move the heavy crates around, which is a good workout. Being on Maha Kali Street feels like being part of a big family. Everyone knows everyone else. It’s a simple way to run a business.
