We are located in the Railway Colony in Manapparai, which is part of the Trichy district here in Tamil Nadu. Our address is 14/E, and it’s a place that most locals can find pretty easily. Working here at Autometers Alliance feels very connected to the town because many of us grew up around here. We deal with meters and different types of instruments all day long. It's a technical job, but we talk about it in simple terms. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space with desks and some equipment. We get a lot of heat in the afternoons, so the fans are always going full blast. V. Balasubramanian’s son is often around keeping an eye on things. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or big signs. Instead, we spend our time making sure the numbers on the meters are accurate. It’s honest work. The trains passing by the colony are a sound we’ve all gotten used to over the years. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about local news or whatever is happening in the neighborhood. It’s just a group of local people doing a specific job well. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company in India, just a reliable one right here in Manapparai. We’ve been doing this for years and plan to stay for many more. It's just who we are.
