We are up on the fourth floor of Archana Arcade. That is at 405, right on St. John’s Road in Secunderabad. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded with traffic and people heading to the station. Our office is a bit of a climb, but there is an elevator that works most of the time. We have been here for a while, dealing with all the insurance papers and risk stuff. It is a lot of desk work. The desks are usually piled with folders and sticky notes. We are India Insure Risk Management and Insurance Broking Services, but we mostly just call ourselves the team at Archana. It is not a quiet library in here. There is always someone talking on a headset or a printer humming in the corner. We get all kinds of people coming in, some worried about their cars and others about their businesses. We just sit them down and go through the forms one by one. It is tedious work sometimes, but it is what we do. The view from the window is not much, just the tops of other buildings and the street below. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the long afternoons. We are not trying to be anything other than a local office that knows how to handle the paperwork that nobody else wants to do. It is busy but we manage.
