Lotus Industries

We are located at Plot No 268 in Panchasheela Colony, which is over near Gandhinagar. The area is more of a mix of small industries and residential spots, so it’s not as loud as the big estates. Our building is a simple structure on a corner plot. We have been working out of this space for a good while now and we know most of the people who live and work on this street. The morning starts with opening the big metal gates and sweeping out the front area. Inside, we have our machinery and the materials we need for the day's production. It's a bit of a tight fit sometimes when we have a lot of raw material delivered, but we make it work by moving things around. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, if the bell rings, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see who it is. The work is mostly manual and involves a lot of repetition, but we find a good rhythm once we get started. We have a small window in the back that lets in a bit of a breeze, which is nice in the summer. We just do our work, look after the equipment, and try to keep things moving along smoothly until it's time to lock up at six. It is a steady way to spend the day and we don't complain about it much. Once the gates are closed, we usually head straight home to get some rest.
