Education Matters

Education Matters is based out of Ramnagar Colony in the Picket area of Secunderabad. We’re located at H.No 45 in Dhobi Basti, which is really close to the Kendriya Vidhyalaya School. It’s easy to find us if you just look for the school. This isn't a big corporate office; it’s more of a community-based spot. We work with students and families, mostly just helping them figure out school stuff and where to go next. Being in Dhobi Basti means we’re right in the middle of a residential area, so it feels very personal. We know the neighbors and we see the kids from the school walking by every day. Ashok Chavhan’s place is where we set everything up. It’s a bit tight in there with all the books and papers, but it works for what we do. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a high-tech setup. It’s just us, some chairs, and a lot of conversation. People stop by because they need help with applications or just want to know about different courses. We try to be as helpful as possible without making things sound too formal. Secunderabad has a lot of schools, so there’s always someone needing a bit of guidance. We just sit down, have a chat, and try to point them in the right direction. It’s simple, honest work that we enjoy doing every day because it feels like we're really helping out the local kids.
