Sarita Press Components

Sarita Press Components is based at 120/P in North Kamala Nagar, right near the ECIL area. If you’ve ever walked around here, you know it’s a mix of homes and small workshops. We’ve been here for several years now, working out of this same space. It’s mostly about press work and making metal components for various uses. The machines we use are quite heavy and make a rhythmic thudding sound that you get used to after working here for a week. It’s not the cleanest job in the world—there’s plenty of grease and metal shavings on the floor by the end of the day. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. Our team is small, just a few workers who have been with us for a long time. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a fancy scripted greeting. Usually, if the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and picks it up. We just focus on getting the orders out on time. Sometimes the supply of raw metal gets delayed, which can be a real headache, but we manage to work around it. Kamala Nagar is a good place to be, and we know our neighbors well. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to keep our machines running. The shop is a bit cramped, but we make it work for our daily tasks.
