D.V. Krishna Book Depot

D.V. Krishna Book Depot is located right on Market Street at Door No.7-1-669/1. Being on Market Street means we are right in the middle of all the noise and activity. It’s a small shop, but we’ve managed to pack a lot into it over the years. We mostly focus on school books and basic stationery. The street outside is always crowded with vendors and shoppers, so it gets quite loud during the day. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit. The shelves are made of old wood and they groan a little under the weight of the books. We don't have any air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day long. My father started this place, and I’ve been running it for the last decade. It’s a simple life, just selling books and talking to the regulars. Sometimes we don't have exactly what a person wants, but we can usually get it in a few days. We keep a ledger for everything, writing it all down by hand. It’s just the way we’ve always done it. There’s no fancy layout here, just rows and rows of books. If you are walking down Market Street, you can’t miss us. We are the ones with the stacks of notebooks near the entrance. It’s a busy life, but it suits us well enough.
