Delphine Foods & Spices is over at Number 1 in the SBI Colony. This is on Transport Road, which is right by the Diamond Point Hotel. If you know that hotel, you can’t miss us. The area is always humming with the sound of transport trucks and cars because it is such a central hub. Working with food and spices means there is always a strong smell in the air around our place. Sometimes it’s cumin, sometimes it’s chili, and it gets into your clothes by the end of the day. The SBI Colony is a bit more tucked away than the main road itself, but the noise still reaches us. We spend a lot of time weighing things out and packing them into bags. It is repetitive work but it needs to be done right so people get what they expect. The Diamond Point area is always busy, so finding parking can be a real headache for anyone coming to see us. We have a small team and we all just pitch in where needed. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with glass walls or anything. It is more of a warehouse feel with sacks of spices stacked up and a few desks tucked in the corner. We keep it simple and just focus on getting the orders ready for the day. It’s hard work but we are used to the pace by now.
