Decent Leathers

If you are looking for Decent Leathers, you have to go down into the cellar of the Sapthagir Complex. It is Shop Number 2, right there in the Kphb Colony area of Kukatpally. It’s a bit of a basement spot, so it stays a little cooler than the street outside, which is nice when the Hyderabad heat really starts picking up in the afternoon. The stairs can be a bit steep if you aren't watching your step. Inside, there is usually leather everywhere, stacked up on the counters and hanging from the walls. We spend a lot of time just organizing the different pieces and helping people who wander in from the complex. Kukatpally is always crowded, so there is a lot of noise from the traffic and the shops upstairs, but it feels quiet once you get down to the shop. We don’t have much space, so things can get a bit cluttered with scraps and tools on the work table. We mostly just keep our heads down and handle whatever leather jobs come our way during the day. Sometimes the light in the cellar isn't the best, but we've got enough lamps to see what we are doing. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure the work is finished on time. We usually close up when the main complex starts to go quiet in the evening. It’s a decent enough place to spend the day.
