Civil Engineer

Huda Colony in Chandanagar is where you’ll find me. C1-43 is the spot. Hyderabad is a huge place, but this little corner feels like home. I spend my days dealing with the basics of building. Some days it’s all about the drains, other days it’s about the columns. It’s not glamorous work. My office is a bit cluttered, to be honest. There are maps of the area and old blueprints tucked into every corner. I like it that way. It shows we’ve been busy. The traffic in Chandanagar can be a nightmare, so I try to schedule my site visits early or late. I’ve lived in this city long enough to know how things work here. People come to me because they want someone who knows the local ground. I don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. I just have my phone and my experience. I’ve seen buildings go up and I’ve seen them fail because someone cut corners. I don’t like cutting corners. It’s better to do it right once. My wife thinks I work too much, but when there’s a project finishing up, I like to be there to see it through. It’s a good feeling when everything fits together. We just keep moving from one job to the next. That’s the life of an engineer in a city like this. It keeps you on your toes and makes the time go by fast.
