Our office is in D Block, Room 506, inside Aditya Enclave in Ameerpet. Ameerpet is always crowded and moving fast, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. We work on both architecture and landscape designs. It’s a bit of a mix. Sometimes we are worrying about building walls, and other times we are looking at where trees and paths should go. The office is usually full of maps and sketches of gardens and buildings. It’s a practical space. We don't have fancy furniture or a big lobby. We just have our computers and some big tables for spreading out blueprints. People come to us when they need to figure out how to use their land better. We spend a lot of time thinking about how things will look once the plants grow or how the sun hits a building. It’s a lot of trial and error on paper before we get to the final version. Being in Aditya Enclave means we are close to everything, which is handy. We just do our work without making a big fuss about it. There’s always someone coming in or out, and the phone rings quite a bit. We just keep at it, drawing and planning for whoever walks through the door. It’s just a group of us trying to make sense of space and nature in a busy city like Hyderabad.
