Calyx International

Our place is at Plot 15 in the Public Sector Colony over in Bowenpally. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main roads, which we don't mind. Calyx International has been here for some time now. The building is just a plain structure, nothing that stands out if you’re just driving by. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, some storage shelves, and a lot of boxes. We don't have a big sign or any flashing lights. Most of our day is spent dealing with paperwork and checking on shipments. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the weekend while we work. The windows look out onto the colony road, and we see the same people walking their dogs every day. It feels more like a small neighborhood office than a big company. We don’t have a dress code, so most of us just wear whatever is comfortable. The floor is tile and it’s a bit worn down in the spots where the chairs roll. We keep the files in some old metal cabinets that squeak when you open them. It’s a low-key environment. We just do our tasks and try to make sure nothing gets missed. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. People know where to find us if they need anything. We usually lock up right at five and head home, leaving the colony quiet again.
