Balaji Pipe Industries

We set up Balaji Pipe Industries down at Tarbund, specifically at Survey No. 201/2B. We’ve been making pipes here for several years now. The building isn’t brand new and it has its share of leaks when it rains hard, but it serves our purpose well enough. We have a few machines that we keep running throughout the day. They make a fair bit of noise, so it's hard to hear the phone sometimes. My brother and I started this because we knew a bit about the industry and saw some work coming in. We don’t spend any money on fancy ads or signs. We mostly just focus on getting the pipes made right. It’s a dusty environment and we usually go home covered in grime. The yard gets filled up with pipes of all different sizes, and sometimes it's a bit of a scramble to find exactly what a customer needs. We deal with a lot of local builders and people just doing small jobs. Tarbund has changed a bit, but we’re still here in the same spot. We don't pretend to be some huge company with a board of directors. We’re just a small shop making pipes and trying to keep our heads above water. We like the work even if it’s tiring. It’s just how we do things around here.
