Arihant Kitchen World

Arihant Kitchen World is our shop located at 7-2-650/51 and 7-2-577 on R.P. Road. It is actually two separate spaces close together because we needed more room for all the kitchen items we keep. R.P. Road is always busy, so there is a lot of foot traffic and noise from the scooters outside all day long. We have stacks of pots, pans, and various kitchen gadgets everywhere you look. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when we get several customers in at once. We do not have a fancy showroom with special lighting or music playing. It is just shelves upon shelves of items. Sometimes it takes us a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for because there is so much stock crammed in. We have been here a long time, so we know most of the other shopkeepers nearby. We open up early and stay open late most days of the week. The floors are a bit worn out from all the walking, and the shelves could probably use a fresh coat of paint. But we are more worried about keeping the items in stock than how the walls look. People come to us because we have things they can’t find in the bigger stores. It is a family-run kind of feel here. We just chat with the customers, help them pick out a tawa or a cooker, and wrap it up in old newspaper.
