We’ve been at Plot No 155/3/1 in Balamrai for a while now. Secunderabad can get pretty hot, so we spend a lot of time looking at lightweight fabrics that don’t stick when you’re out playing cricket or football. It’s just a small place, really. Most days you’ll find us sorting through jerseys and track pants. We started because it was hard to find decent gear nearby without going all the way into the main city. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered with boxes everywhere, but we know where everything is. It’s mostly just us working here, making sure the stitching is tight so the clothes don't fall apart after one game. We get local teams coming in asking for specific colors, and we do what we can with what’s available. It’s not a big fancy showroom with bright lights. We just have our racks and a few chairs for people to sit while they decide. The neighborhood knows us pretty well. If you’re around Balamrai, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times. We don’t do much advertising; people just hear about us from their friends. We just want to make sure the local kids have what they need to play. It gets busy during the tournament season, but that’s how it goes. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a fabric isn't good, we tell you. That’s just how we run things here in Hyderabad.
