Amarsons Pearls & Jewels

Our shop is on the ground floor right beside the Jain Estate on Parklane in Secunderabad. If you’ve ever been to Parklane, you know how packed the streets get with shoppers and cars. We’ve been in this location for a long time, and it has a very local feel to it. The shop isn’t very big, so we have to be smart about how we display the pearls and jewelry. We have glass cases lining the walls, and the lighting is just enough to see the details of the pieces. It’s a quiet place compared to the noise of the street just outside the door. We don’t have a massive staff or a corporate structure. It’s just a few of us who know the inventory and help out whoever walks in. Sometimes people are looking for a gift, and other times they just want to see what’s new. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass and reorganizing the displays. The back room is where we keep the extra stock and do our bookkeeping, and it’s always a bit of a mess with boxes and papers. We aren’t into fancy marketing or big sales pitches. We just show people what we have and let the pieces speak for themselves. Secunderabad has a lot of history with jewelry, and we are happy to be a small part of that. It’s a steady business where we value the regulars who come back every few years.
