If you are looking for Akruthi Hardmetals, we are tucked away in Shakthipuram, right near the Durga Shakthipeetam temple in Kukatpally. It’s a busy little spot, and sometimes the traffic on the main road makes getting here a bit of a headache. We spend our days working with hardmetals, which isn't exactly easy work. It is heavy, it’s loud, and it keeps us on our toes from the moment we open the shutters in the morning. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings and the smell of cooling oil. We aren't a big fancy operation with receptionists in suits. Usually, you’ll just find one of us at the desk or back in the workshop dealing with a machine. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first set up here at 5-5-35/222. More buildings have gone up, and it feels a lot more crowded now than it used to. We have a small team, and most of us have been here for years. We just try to get the orders filled and keep the equipment running. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment needs to go out, but we don't mind much. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on. If the gate is open, we’re probably inside working on something or other and you can just shout to get our attention.
