Located over in Salt Lake City at JC 15, Sec 3, we spend most of our time dealing with cars and engines. Being near Sech Bhawan means there’s always a lot of activity around us. The garage isn’t exactly a quiet place to sit. There’s usually the sound of a wrench hitting the floor or an engine idling in the background. We started Bharat Motor Co because we knew a thing or two about motors, and we’ve just stayed at it. It’s a lot of physical labor, crawling under vehicles and checking parts that have seen better days. Sometimes the weather gets really hot inside the shop, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. We have a lot of locals who stop by just to ask a quick question or get something checked out. It feels like a small community here even though the city is huge. Our office area is pretty small and usually has a few old calendars on the wall and some spare parts sitting on the desk. We don’t spend much time on paperwork if we can help it. Most of the day is spent out on the floor. It’s nothing like those big corporate showrooms you see in the fancy parts of town. We’re just a regular bunch of guys working on motors. If something is broken, we look at it. There's an old radio in the corner that mostly plays news. The floor is stained with oil spills from years ago. We also keep a few spare chairs for visitors.
