Power Batteries

Our place, Power Batteries, is located at D-156-157 on Sanwer Road in the Industrial Area. It’s a large plot because we need the extra space for all the stock we keep on hand. Batteries are heavy and take up a lot of room, so we’re constantly moving pallets around with the jack. The air has that distinct metallic smell you find in places like this. We’ve been on Sanwer Road for quite a bit now, and we’ve seen the road get busier and busier every year. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but once you’re in the industrial zone, it makes sense for us. The office is just a small partitioned area near the front door where we keep the invoices and the computer. It’s usually covered in a fine layer of dust no matter how much we wipe it down. We don't really have a sales team. We just answer the phone and help whoever walks through the door. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and carrying, but we’re used to it. The team is small, just a few of us who know the ropes. We don't go in for big meetings or anything like that. We just talk over the day's tasks while we’re getting started in the morning. It’s a practical way to run a business and we don't need much more than that.
