Satyendra Senani Rajkiya Hospital is right in the Gulab Bagh area of Karauli. If you know where the Gulab Bagh bus stand is, then you won't have any trouble finding us because we are very close to it. Being near the bus stand means we get a lot of people coming in from the nearby villages who travel specifically to see us. It’s a government hospital, so things are usually very hectic. There are always people waiting in the corridors or sitting outside on the benches. It’s a noisy, lively place, and we are constantly trying to keep up with the flow of patients. The building is large and has that old institutional feel to it. It’s not fancy or modern in its decor, but it serves a very important purpose for the people of Karauli. We have a lot of different cases coming through every day, from minor scrapes to more serious things. The staff stays on their feet for most of the shift. We don’t have much time for small talk, but we try to be as helpful as possible to the families who come in. Sometimes the power goes out or the equipment acts up, but we just keep going.
