Vatsalya Hospital

If you look for the railway bridge, you will find Vatsalya Hospital right there. It’s a very specific location, and yes, you can definitely hear the trains going by at all hours of the day and night. You get used to the vibration after a while, though. We’ve been set up here for quite some time now. It’s a basic hospital, nothing that would win any design awards, but it serves the purpose. We have several beds and the necessary equipment to handle most emergencies that come our way. The staff is local, and we often see our own neighbors coming in for treatment. We don’t use any of those polished marketing phrases because we don't need to. People know who we are and what we do. The building is a bit plain, but it’s sturdy and we keep the medical areas as tidy as possible. Sometimes the reception gets a bit disorganized when the phone is ringing and three people are trying to check in at the same time, but we eventually sort it out. We aren't trying to be a five-star hotel; we are just a hospital. It’s hard work, and the shifts can be long, but it’s a living and it helps people. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work at hand near the bridge. It's a simple, honest way to run a medical facility for the community.
