Amrit Trading Company

You can find Amrit Trading Company right in the middle of the Main Market in Lal Bazar. We are located in Bhagwatgarh, specifically near the Sabji Mandi. Being so close to the vegetable market means our mornings start very early. Before the sun is even fully up, the area is full of carts and people shouting about prices. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We trade in various goods, so our inventory changes quite a bit depending on what’s in demand. The store is filled with boxes and crates, and there isn't always a lot of room to walk around. We’ve been here for quite some time, so we know most of the other shopkeepers in the lane. We often share a cup of tea in the morning while waiting for the first customers to arrive. The building is old and has a lot of character, though the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. It’s a very local atmosphere where everyone knows everyone else’s business. Sometimes the smells from the nearby vegetable stalls can be quite strong, but you get used to it after a while. Most of our work involves keeping track of what’s coming in and making sure the local buyers get what they need. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day, even if it gets a bit chaotic when the market is at its busiest.
