Aksha Marbles

Our shop, Aksha Marbles, is sitting at number six along the Gangapur Road in Ahmedpur. It’s just a regular storefront where we keep our samples and some of the smaller stock. Most of the bigger slabs are kept out back where there’s more room to move them. Ahmedpur is a decent place to be, and being on the main road means we see a lot of people passing by. We started this because we knew a bit about stone and figured we could make a go of it here. We don't use any fancy talk or try to push people into buying things they don't need. Usually, it's just a conversation about what kind of project someone is working on, like a bathroom or a small porch. We try to keep a variety of things, but since it's a smaller shop, we focus on what people actually ask for. Sometimes we're out helping with a delivery, so the shop might be quiet for an hour, but we're usually around. It’s just a small team of us handling everything from the unloading to the cleaning. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors know us. There’s no big corporate vibe here, just a local business trying to provide stone for the houses being built around the area. It keeps us on our feet and we like being part of the community here on Gangapur Road.
