Aaravi Surgical Hospital

Aaravi Surgical Hospital is situated out on Ranthambhore Road. The road is long and can get quite dusty when the wind picks up, which happens a lot. We have a plain front to the building with the name painted up high so you can see it from the street. It’s a surgical place, so we have to be very careful about keeping everything washed down. The floors are scrubbed every few hours, and you can usually smell the soap we use. There isn’t much of a view, just the road and the trees on the other side. We have a few rooms for people to stay in, and they are pretty basic with just the beds and a small table. The kitchen in the back makes tea and simple meals, so there is usually a smell of ginger or spices in the air around lunchtime. Ranthambhore Road isn't the busiest street in the world, but there is a steady flow of cars. We have a small desk where the paperwork gets stacked up. Sometimes the computer is slow, and we have to wait for it to restart, which can be annoying. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we all walk or bike in. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and the required notices. It is just a regular hospital for surgeries, tucked away on a long road, keeping things running day by day.
