Rahul Cutter Slitter

You can find us at Plot No. 514 in the GIDC Estate. We run a small operation here called Rahul Cutter Slitter. The name pretty much tells you everything we do. We have these big slitting and cutting machines that take up most of the floor space in the shed. It’s a very noisy environment because of the metal or paper being processed. The floor is usually covered in small scraps and leftover bits from the jobs we finish. We don’t have an office staff; it’s just the people actually doing the cutting. It’s a simple setup. We get a roll of material, we set the blades, and we cut it to the size the customer needs. Sometimes the blades need sharpening or the rollers get stuck, which can slow things down. We don't have any marketing materials or a website. Most of our work comes from other businesses in the same estate who need their materials resized. The lighting isn't great, and the roof leaks a little when there’s a heavy storm, but we make it work. It’s a very specific kind of job and we’ve been doing it for years now. We don't make big claims about our work. We just do the slitting and cutting as requested and hope the machines keep running smoothly. It’s just a regular, hardworking shop in a busy industrial area.
