Vimal Brick

At Vimal Brick, we are located in Village Savda, which falls under the Raver taluka in Jalgaon. This part of the country is known for its soil, and we make the most of it every day. Our operation is right there near the post office area, so we are easy to find if you are passing through. The work is mostly manual, involving a lot of digging and shaping the clay before it goes into the fire. It’s a rhythmic kind of job, and we have a small crew that has been with us for years. We don't have any polished brochures or a fancy website. Most people find out about us just by seeing the stacks of bricks or hearing the tractors moving around Savda. Life in a village like this is quiet for the most part, except for the noise of the kiln and the workers. We deal with the heat of Jalgaon every summer, which makes the kiln work even tougher, but you get used to it. Sometimes the batches don't come out perfectly even, but that is the nature of using local earth and traditional methods. We sell to local builders and neighbors who are putting up a wall or a new room. It is a basic way to make a living, but it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We take pride in the fact that our bricks are part of many homes around the Raver district.
