R C Patel Edu Trust Shirpur

We’ve been based out of Kavathal for quite a while now. Shirpur is a quiet area, but we keep busy enough with the trust work. Most of us here grew up in the Nandurbar district, so we know the people and the local needs around Shahada and Kahatul. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. We just have our desks and files in a simple building. Some days are loud when students or parents come by, and other days it’s just the sound of the fans and paper shuffling. The drive out here to the post office at Kahatul takes a bit of time because of the roads, but we don’t mind. It’s home. People know us by name, which is how it usually goes in smaller places like this. We handle a lot of the administrative side of things for the educational trust. There’s always someone stopping by to ask a question or drop off a form. We keep things moving as well as we can. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s a practical way of working. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or polished brochures. We just do the work that needs doing for the local community. It gets hot in the summer months, but that's just part of life here in Maharashtra. We've got our routine and it works for us day after day.
