We have been set up in Nadi Bazar for a long time now. If you have ever walked through the narrow lanes of the bazar, you know exactly what the atmosphere is like. It is full of people, local energy, and the constant movement of trade. Our place is right in the middle of it all. It is not some big, shiny office building, just a small shopfront that we have used for years. It has a lot of character, even if the walls are a bit scuffed and the floor is uneven. We have our desks pushed up against the sides to make as much room as possible for the samples and boxes that come in and out. Most of our work is done through face-to-face talking or over the mobile phone. It gets incredibly noisy during the peak hours of the market, so we try to get our most complicated paperwork done early in the morning before the crowds really arrive. We do not have a big glowing sign or any fancy lights outside. Most people who need us already know where we are. We handle overseas orders, so there is always a lot of international shipping forms sitting on the desks next to our tea cups. It is a simple way of doing business. We know our neighbors and we know our trade. There is no corporate ladder here, just us and the daily work.
