Sri Venkateswara Fertilisers Private Limited is based out on Athni Road. Our place is right at the Swatantra Colony Cross, very close to the Itagi Petrol Pump. It’s a good location for us because many farmers pass by this way on their tractors. The warehouse is usually stacked high with bags of different fertilizers. It has that specific earthy smell that you always find in these types of stores. We have been operating here for a good while now. The road outside can get quite dusty, especially when the wind picks up. We have a small staff who help with moving the bags and loading them into vehicles. It’s heavy work, so everyone stays pretty fit. Swatantra Colony is mostly residential, but the cross itself is a bit of a commercial hub for the local farming community. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s just a counter, some ledgers, and the storage space in the back. Our days are mostly spent talking to people about their land and what they are planting this season. It’s very much tied to the weather and the time of year. Some months we are working flat out from dawn to dusk, and other times it’s much quieter. We don't do anything flashy. We just stay open and wait for the regulars to stop by. Being near the Itagi Petrol Pump makes us a convenient stop for everyone in the area.
