Sona Industries

If you walk down 7 Main Road in Virdhunagar, you will find us easily enough. It is a busy part of town and there is always something going on right outside our front door. We have been in this building for a long time, and you can see the history in the way the stone stairs are worn down in the middle. It is an industrial setup, so there is usually some noise coming from the back area where the heavy work happens. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby for people to sit in. Instead, we have workbenches and a lot of tools that have seen better days but still get the job done correctly. The air smells a bit like metal and oil most mornings before we open the windows. We do not spend much time worrying about how things look to outsiders as long as the work is getting finished on time. Most of the guys here have been working on this road for many years, so we all know each other and the shop owners next door. We usually have a short tea break around ten when the sun starts getting really hot. It is hard work, and your hands usually end up pretty dirty by the end of the shift, but that is just how Sona Industries operates. We stay busy from Monday to Saturday, and then we finally get some peace on Sundays when the Main Road is finally quiet for a few hours.
