Pawan Ice Cream

Pawan Ice Cream is located in Ward No 8, right in the Bank Colony area. You can find us on Gali No 4, which is just a short turn off the Main Road in Satna. It is an interesting spot because you have the quiet of the residential street on one side and the busy city traffic on the other. We really like being based in Bank Colony because we have gotten to know almost everyone who lives on this particular block. It feels more like being part of a neighborhood than just running a business. The shop is quite small, with freezers lined up and just enough room for a few people to stand inside. Most of my mornings are spent checking the stock levels and making sure the generator is ready to go, since we get power cuts in Satna fairly often. My family runs the whole thing together. We don't use any fancy language or try to sell people on anything special. Most customers just walk over from their homes or stop by while they are out doing their shopping on the main road. We put a few chairs outside in the shade so people can sit for a bit when the summer heat is bad. It is nice seeing the same faces every day and having a little chat while they pick something out. We just try to keep everything clean and make sure the ice cream is cold. That is the whole story.
