Shraddha Gruh Udhyog

Shraddha Gruh Udhyog is based at Shop No. 46 in the Krishi Upaj Mandi area of Satna. If you know the Mandi, you know it’s a place that’s always moving. There are trucks coming and going at all hours of the day. Our shop is right in the middle of all that hustle and bustle. We handle a lot of local products here, mostly things that people use in their kitchens every day. The air around the shop often smells like ground spices or dried grains depending on what’s being moved around. It’s a very practical place to work. We have sacks of goods stacked against the walls and a heavy metal scale for weighing everything out. The floor is always a bit dusty because of all the trade happening in the open market nearby. We’ve been in Satna for many years and the Mandi is like a second home to us now. It’s not really a place for browsing; people come here knowing exactly what they need to buy in bulk. The wooden door to the shop creaks every time someone walks in or out. We don't have much in the way of decoration on the walls. Just some old ledgers and a few wooden chairs for visitors who stop by for a chat. The weather in Madhya Pradesh can be tough, but the thick walls of these Mandi shops keep things okay. It’s a busy life, keeping up with the farmers and traders who stop by our door.
