India Hospital Search

We are located at No. 491, right in front of the DFO Office in the Civil Line area. It is a quiet enough part of town compared to the main markets. Our work here at India Hospital Search is mostly about information. People call us or come by because they need to find a specific hospital or a doctor and they don't know where to start. We spend a lot of time on the computer or the phone looking things up. It sounds simple but it can get complicated when someone is in a hurry and needs a bed or a specialist right away. The office is pretty basic. We have a few desks, some chairs, and a lot of directories. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait, which is frustrating. We aren't doctors ourselves, we just help bridge the gap between the patient and the facility. We see a lot of people who are stressed out because a family member is sick. We try to give them the right address or phone number so they can get help. It is a lot of data entry and double-checking lists to make sure the hospitals are still where they say they are. It’s a useful thing to do, I think. We’ve been at this Civil Line spot for a while now and most of the locals know where we are if they need to ask something about local healthcare.
