Gagan Bags

Gagan Bags is situated on Birla Road, very close to Birla Hospital. It’s a busy spot because of all the people coming and going from the medical center. We have been here for a while and have seen the area change quite a bit. Our shop specializes in bags for all kinds of uses. We have small pouches, handbags, and larger luggage pieces stacked up. Sometimes the bags are piled high near the entrance because we just received a new shipment and haven't put it away yet. It’s not the fanciest looking place, but we have what people are looking for. The street can be loud with ambulances and traffic, so we usually keep the radio playing in the background to drown it out. We don't use any high-tech systems to run the place. We just know where everything is stored by memory. My cousin helps me on the weekends when it gets extra busy with shoppers. We talk to a lot of people who are just passing through the area. We try to stay helpful without being pushy or annoying. It is a straightforward shop and we like it that way. Being near the hospital means we see a lot of different people every single day. We just keep the doors open and make sure we have a good variety of items for whoever walks in. It works for us in this part of town.
