Cement Brick Machine

Our place is located in Babulkhur, right near the Birla Hospital. You can usually hear the machines thumping from a bit away. We spend most of our time working with the cement mixes and keeping the presses running. It is a lot of maintenance work to keep the machines from getting clogged up with dry cement. My clothes are usually covered in grey dust by noon. It is just a practical setup we have here. We do not have a showroom or a front desk. If someone wants to see the bricks, they just walk into the yard and look at the stacks. We make different sizes depending on what people are asking for lately. It is noisy and there is always a lot of movement. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, which is frustrating but that is how it is. We try to keep things organized but it gets messy when we are in the middle of a big batch. It is just me and a few others doing the daily grind. We like being near the hospital because it is a good landmark and everyone knows how to get here. We do not bother with fancy flyers or anything. We just make the bricks and hope the rain stays away so they cure properly. We have had this shop for years and it is mostly just about getting the work finished each day. There is not much more to it.
