Anil Medical&genral Store

Anil Medical&genral Store is situated in the Ashok Talkies Building at Pannilal Chowk. It’s an old building, but everyone around here knows it well. Being at the H O here means we are right in the thick of things at the chowk. We carry more than just medicines because we are a general store too. We have soaps, shampoos, and other daily bits that people need. It gets pretty crowded around Pannilal Chowk during the festival seasons. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every inch of wall space for our shelving. It’s a bit of a maze inside if you don't know where everything is kept. We've been in this building for a long time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we're usually too busy with customers to worry about that. People come in for all sorts of things, not just health stuff. We like the variety of the work. One minute we're counting out tablets and the next we're selling a bottle of hair oil. It’s a traditional way of running a business. We don't use any high-tech systems. Just a simple ledger and some old-fashioned service at the counter. The Ashok Talkies Building has a lot of history and we feel like we are a small part of it. It’s just a regular local shop.
