We are located at number 8 on Mettupalayam Road. We make doors and windows for all sorts of buildings. It’s a very busy road, so there’s always a lot of noise from the cars and trucks passing by outside. Our workshop is right there, and you can usually hear the sawing and hammering all the way from the street. We’ve been in this spot for a long time now. It’s a simple setup with our tools and the wood or metal we use for the frames. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; it’s just us making things. People stop by to look at samples or talk about what they need for their new house construction. We just give them a fair price and tell them how long it will take to finish. Sri Lakshmi has been a part of this neighborhood's growth for years. We see new houses going up all the time and we’re often the ones providing the doors. It’s satisfying to see our finished work installed nearby. The shop can get quite messy with sawdust and metal scraps, but that’s just part of the daily job. We don’t try to be fancy or corporate.
