We are based in a small place called Umbraj, which is in the Karad Taluka of Satara district. Our office is in Bhavani Peth, right in the heart of the village. Being in a rural part of Maharashtra like this means our life is a bit different from the people in the big cities. Things move a little slower here, and we like it. Y.S.Sane & Associates has been a fixture in Umbraj for quite some time. We help the local people with whatever professional services they need, whether it’s related to land, taxes, or general advice. Most of our clients are farmers or local shop owners who we see at the market every day. The office itself is quite plain, just a room with some old furniture and a lot of paper stacked up. We don't have a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and talk to whoever is sitting there at the time. It’s a very direct way of doing things. Sometimes people just stop by for a chat while they are in the Peth for their regular shopping. We know the history of the families around here, which helps us understand their problems better. We don't have a website or any fancy brochures to hand out. We just rely on being here when people need us. It’s been our way for years and we don't see any reason to change it now. We just do our bit.
