We’ve been running the shop here at Plot No 9 for quite a while now. It’s right across from Bodhe Hospital, so we see a lot of people coming and going all day. Usually, it’s someone who sat on their glasses or needs a new pair because their old ones are scratched up. We keep a lot of frames on the shelves, some basic ones and a few nicer ones if that’s what you’re looking for. It gets a bit dusty with the traffic outside, so we’re always wiping things down. My brother and I usually handle the testing and helping people pick out what fits their face. Sometimes someone comes in just for a quick adjustment because their nose pads are wonky. It’s not a huge place, but we have what’s needed to get the job done. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some regulars have been coming to us since they were kids, and now they bring their own children in. It’s mostly just us working here, making sure the lenses are cut right and the prescriptions are filled properly. Nothing fancy, just a local spot where you can get your eyes looked at without too much fuss. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a frame can be fixed, we fix it instead of telling you to buy a whole new set. That’s just how we do things here. We aren't part of any big chain, just a small family business.
