Vrundadhar Foundation

Vrundadhar Foundation is based out of the Dattachhaya Housing Society in Satara. We are at house number 25 in the Gendamal area. It is a bit of a climb up toward the hills, but it is much quieter than being right in the middle of Pune or Satara city. We like the peace and quiet here because it helps us focus. The housing society is a friendly place where everyone knows everyone else. We often chat with our neighbors when we are arriving in the morning or leaving in the evening. Our office is very basic, just a few rooms where we keep our equipment and files. We do not have a lot of decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a map of the district. Most of our work is done locally, so being in Gendamal makes sense for us. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take a break and sit outside for a bit. It is a very relaxed atmosphere. We are not trying to impress anyone with a big office or fancy furniture. We just want to do the work we set out to do when we started. A few of us handle everything from the cleaning to the complicated paperwork. It is a small operation, but we stay quite busy with the various projects we have going on. We are just regular people from Satara trying to do our part.
