Vakratund Micro Services Foundation

Our office is in Satara, specifically in Mangalwar Peth at the Laxmivinayak Complex. We’re in Flat No. 9, on the second floor. It’s a typical Satara neighborhood—busy, a bit old-fashioned, and full of life. We focus on micro services, which basically means we help out with smaller, practical things that people need. We aren't a big bank or a giant institution. We’re just a small group of people working out of a flat. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, and the nameplate is a little scratched, but we’re there every day. Most of our work involves sitting down with people and going through their details. It’s not glamorous. We use simple desks and chairs, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. Satara is a place where you need to be honest with people if you want them to trust you. We don’t use big financial jargon or try to sound smarter than we are. If we can help, we say so. If we can’t, we’re upfront about that too. Being in Mangalwar Peth means we’re close to the local markets and the bus stand, so it’s easy for folks to reach us. We drink a lot of tea and spend our days looking at spreadsheets and talking to the people who walk through our door. It’s just regular work for regular people who live around here.
